PRE-RELEASE: Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution - Pitch Black Build and Battle - 07/09/2026 @7:00 PM

Get an early look at the highly-anticipated Mega Evolution — Pitch Black expansion before its official release! In a Pokémon TCG Prerelease event, trainers from all experience levels are invited to open brand-new cards, build their own decks, and battle it out in a fun, sealed tournament format. 

At the event, each player receives a Prerelease Build & Battle kit that includes:
• A 40-card ready-to-play deck you can customize
• Four Pitch Black booster packs to open and add to your deck
• A promo foil card unique to prerelease kits
• A digital code card for Pokémon TCG Live 

After deck construction, participants can try out some of the new cards in a Swiss-style tournament, typically best-of-one rounds, to enjoy exciting new strategies found in Pitch Black. Competing in this event rewards participants with extra booster packs to take home to further add to their collection.
